Meet FRC Team 3646: INTEGRA of Turkey!

Team 3646 INTEGRA

The team bios continue to roll in  and they’re fantastic! Here we meet Team 3646, INTEGRA, of Istanbul, Turkey!

Team 3646 (also known as INTEGRA) is a Turkish team located in Istanbul, founded in 2011. The first members of the team were 6 students from Bahcesehir High School for Science and Technology (abbreviated as BHSSciTEch).

Since then, the team has actively competed in various regional events held in the U.S.. This is the first time 3646 has attended the Orlando Regional, although the team had participated in Seattle Cascade Regional once and Midwest Regional held in Chicago, IL three times. So far, the team has qualified to compete in quarter finals twice and was awarded “the Judge’s Award” once in its history.

“Being a Turkish team and having members originated from all around Turkey who are all boarding students, we believe that 3646 has a family-like ambiance and close bonds between members in a tolerated, warm environment with people from all ethnicities, with different talents, thought forms, and interests. By having so, 3646 works like a well-greased gearbox and our grease is this ambiance of tolerance we have built over the years of being boarding students and having to live together.

“Having a renewal process at the beginning of the season of 2013, the team has based itself on new principles and has currently been working hard to reach those goals. The team currently consists of 12 students from two different schools; 10 from BHSSciTEch and 2 from Bahcesehir High School.”

We can’t wait to meet Team 3646, and all the great teams joining us  at the Orlando Regional!

Yakında görüşürüz! (See you soon!)
