Team Spotlight: Meet Team 5722, South Walton High School

South Walton High School – Team 5722 joins 3500 students representing 64 teams from 40 Florida high schools plus teams from across U.S., including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, as well as the Netherlands and China, along with hundreds of teachers, industry and college mentors, parents and 6,500 pounds of metal, gears and electronics to complete in the 18th Annual Orlando Regional FIRST® Robotics Competition at the University of Central Florida CFE Arena March 11 & 12.

South Walton High School Robotics Classes have no prerequisites and are entering their third competition overall with this being their second competition this year. Students are a mixture of all grades and abilities, with 9 female and 40 male students. We even plan to have our own Battle-Bots competition in April!
